The Bible is the foundation of all knowledge and thus integrated into all classes at Calvary. This is accomplished through Christian-based curriculum (A Beka and Bob Jones) that pursues the highest standard in education. The Iowa Assessment is given to all students in K5 through 12th grade to ensure academic excellence. Calvary consistently scores above the 90 percentile on this test. Calvary is also above the state and national averages on the college ACT test.

Students are encouraged to expand their talents through state and national academic meets and fine art competitions. As always, our goal is to impact hearts and minds for Christ.

K4 and K5 students learn concepts such as sharing, teamwork, respect, kindness and obedience. Students are taught the fundamental basics to prepare them for elementary school in subjects such as letters, shapes, numbers, Bible, and beginning reading. Classroom time is also allotted for group interaction, stories, music, and play time.

Students in the elementary classrooms from 1st through 6th grade are not only taught a variety of academic subjects, but also concepts such as respect, obedience, and kindness. Students receive personal instruction by dedicated teachers in subjects such as Bible, reading, arithmetic, language arts, science, history, health, art, music, and physical education.
